How many people can I book an igloo with?

The minimum occupancy is 4 people. The igloo can accommodate a maximum of 8 people.

Are the igloos heated?

No. We have installed energy-saving heating mats under your table. During your stay, the activated fonduelette device also radiates heat. The igloo can also be closed with a zipper. However, please understand that we have to do without additional heat sources due to the energy crisis.

​

We therefore recommend warm clothing in any case! (above all warm socks & warm shoes!)

Of course we provide blankets in case you should get cold.

How long is my time slot?

The time slot for the gourmet igloo is 3 hours. The igloo is reserved for you the whole time, so you can stroll through the Christmas market before you arrive or in between. If you arrive a little later or if it takes a few minutes longer, that is of course not a problem.

from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m

Please note the changed times on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and on January 6th, 2023.

What is "Fonduelette"?

Raclette with a variety of ingredients, side dishes such as vegetables, potatoes, bread, cheese & homemade dips

Meat fondue with high-quality meats, e.g. B. Beef, veal, turkey from regional butchers

 

The Fonduelette Machine stands in the middle of your table. The menu is designed in such a way that the whole table can prepare the food individually, depending on personal preference.

Arrange the raclette pans according to your wishes and cook your meat fondue at the same time. We work exclusively with regional products in order to offer you a high-quality culinary experience.

Do you also offer a vegan or vegetarian menu?

Of course. If you are vegetarian or vegan, please indicate this in the Remarks field when booking. Name the number of people who would like to have a different variant of the menu. We will of course respond to your needs.

Do you have a gluten intolerance or lactose intolerance?

You are also welcome to specify this when booking, so that we can respond to your individual wishes. Please also note this with the number of people in the Remarks field.

How's the drinks going?

You can order drinks from us on site according to your wishes. Take a look at ours drinks menu. Our service staff is there for you on site.

Are dogs allowed?

You are welcome to bring your furry friends with you, provided you think about the additional space required. We are animal-friendly and look forward to your four-legged friend.

Are there also prices for children?

Yes! Children from 0-5 years are free of charge and do not have to be declared as participants when booking. However, no fonduelette menu is included in this price category. Small children eat with their parents. When booking, please consider the additional space required and the maximum occupancy.

​

For children aged 6-14 we charge €28.00 incl. fonduelette.

​

From the age of 15, the adult category must be selected.

​

Non-alcoholic drinks for the children can be ordered separately on site.

Can I spontaneously book an igloo on site?

Yes! If we are not fully booked that day, you can - regardless of the number of people (possibly only for two) - spontaneously ask our service staff on site whether there is still capacity. If an igloo is free, it will take about 20 minutes to prepare everything for you. We look forward to spontaneous guests!

What are you doing for on-site security?

Your safety is our priority. The gourmet igloos are of course thoroughly cleaned, aired and disinfected after each booking for the next group in accordance with the Covid19 guidelines

​

Which Corona regulations are already known?

There are currently no known conditions for outdoor events. However, please note the current Corona regulations of the state or federal government and keep sufficient distance on the grounds of the Christkindelsmarkt Baden-Baden. In the gourmet igloos themselves, of course, there is no obligation to wear a mask, analogous to general restaurant operations.

 

Can I cancel

The bookings are NOT refundable. If you do need to cancel we will endeavor to reschedule your booking to the next available timeslot but cannot guarantee availability (please refer Conditions).

What else do I need to bring?

Please have your online tickets ready when you arrive, as they will be checked by our service staff. We also recommend warm clothing, especially warm socks and warm shoes.

​

How far in advance do I have to book my igloo?

Please book in good time, no later than 1 day before the desired date.
Also remember that the appointments at the weekend are very popular and some are already fully booked.

​

Can I add people later?

Yes. If other people spontaneously want to join after a booking, that's no problem. Please let us know at least 2 days in advance so that we can organize everything can prepare in real time.

Can I also book several igloos for a larger company, team event or Christmas party?
